Crash and Burn

So my computer has been completely dead for a while now and i have no idea when i'll be getting a new one. HOPEFULLY within the next few weeks. Right now i am at the folks' house for christmas things so i finally have a little bit of access to updating although all that i can do for now is take pictures with my camera. No scans to be had which is a downer but at least things will partially be updated again on a haphazard basis. Next update coming whenever i take pictures.

The Doctor Is In

Some random stuff for school. Out of the three projects chosen for me to do for a client 2 of them were closed down at the last minute because of copyrights that the theater failed to properly get and the third painting wasn't chosen thus eliminating any hopes i could have had to get published for that project. Boosh. Only one of them is shown here and it's the Jungle Book painting. The rest is just stuff from other classes. There is plenty more for me to post but i'm lazy so this is all you get.

Some Doodiddlins

a random sketch from forever ago that somehow got from my sketchbook to my computer for one reason or the other, not all of the sketches that i need to put up here but that will have to wait till later. Then there's a preliminary sketch for an upcoming painting. Also a couple variations on a flyer for a friend of mine's band's gig.

Done? only time will tell

This might be as far as this one gets to go but it was definitely a learning experience. It taught me to not try painting black metal and large sweeping clouds only look good in my head. I'm not disappointed in the result though. It was my first attempts at painting dark metal and big clouds and such so it taught me some thangs.

One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

So I still can't light a picture for a photo. Guess you can pick which one you like better so I don't have to. Had to repaint the head on this one to get it in the right position along with some other things. Don't let that man's calm exterior fool you... this painting is a deathtrap.

are you SATISFIED jason rumpff

picture quality is a little wonky because lighting anything in this place is like trying to beat a t-rex to death with a spoon, but it gets the point across.

My friends and I do these quick little sketches called "Draw-Offs" where we each pick a random word and then we draw a picture based off of those three words. This time around it was "Unwilling Airborne Corpse". Keeps the creative juices flowing. Flowing in what direction? Who knows.
